At risk of going against the consensus, I really don't think either were even close to being penalties.
If the Sanchez one is a penalty then we have to concede the Ederson one v Arsenal a few years back was a penalty - which was ridiculous. Ederson got nowhere near the ball on that occasion but it shouldn't have been a penalty. When both player and keeper are running at eachother, unless one of them is in control of the ball, it's just a 50:50 - if the ball is gone neither of them are in control of it.
The second one the ball is nowhere near them and the striker's just flopped, it's a bit pathetic really and I hate that kind of thing.
I actually think Everton might get something from this though, Chelsea don't look great.
