If — and it's a big if — they get injuries to key players, as we have done, and as Arsenal have done up to a point, then we'll have to reconsider. Van Dijk and Salah out would already be major. Thing is, though, they just don't get injured. It's very strange.
Anyway, we're not in the argument, and in a strange kind of way, I'm enjoying that part of it. For the first time in years, I don't grit my teeth and brace myself physically before looking out for their result.

I think they've had their share of injuries so far, namely in defence. They haven't been like arsenal of the last 2 years where they've got about 9 players playing 35 league games or more. The thing that separates them at the minute is they have a very simplified and basic gameplan. It plays the percentages and works regardless of individuals so they don't feel the loss of players.

bit as they'll be nobody anywhere near them to capitalise on it. We, and by we I mean us and every club but the dippers have to make sure we stop them from winning anything else with the league now. A league title on its own isn't in the same stratosphere as a double or god forbid a treble.

Definitely not enjoying it but I know what you mean with the last part, I'd usually be livid at dropped points today but being so far behind that we have zero chance of clawing anything back has taken the pressure off, I'm beyond being angry at results, I'm not arsed about other games, barely bothering to check the scores nevermind watch, there's an almost refreshing lack of importance on the results after spending the last 4 years feeling like every single game has to be won. I'd swap it in a heartbeat to be in a position where it matters though.
