Well that was quite eventful!

How is it a pen if he’s running away from goal? He definitely touched the ball first and was fouled, but he’s surely running away from a scoring position??

What has what direction got to do with it ? A foul in the area is a penalty ?

Who is the bent bastad on VAR.

It’s Jarred Gillett who is the best ref in the league - his hands are completely tied there though as Webb won’t let the VAR overrule the onfield ref unless it’s a total clusterfuck of a decision, and from the many replays we saw you can’t definitely say Hwang didn’t make any contact with Schar so it can’t be overturned, even though 99.99% of people watching would clearly say it’s never a pen.

That penalty is the exact reason var was brought in, in real time it looks a pen so you can understand why its given but when you watch it back from different angles its clearly not, yet VAR doesn't overrule, farcical.
