Premier League Games | 27/28/29 Sept '25

On Pope that was, giving the ball away stupidly leading to the corner.
Though Saka should have seen red in the 1st half, snide foul to stop Gordon getting away then clear dissent aimed at the ref a few mins later. Amazingly not a single booking.
Then Calafiori, already on a yellow, does as clear a yellow card foul as youll see, pulling down Burn and gets away with it.
Then the late penalty shout, many teams would have got that.
That said, Howe showed he has a mid table managers mentality by trying to hold on for the entire 2nd half.

How does Pep put up with our succession of useless set piece coaches when he sees so many games won due to them

Arsenal have played away at the swamp, anfield and now st james' park and played us at home, nobody has had a tougher start than that. So whilst the points gap might be nothing at this point, you have to factor in what they've crossed off the fixture list too. Arsenal are firmly in the driving seat right now.

Your team scores and the first thing you do is decide to go to Manchester City forum blue moon.

Seems provocative.
I was on this thread the whole match mate - stayed here when we were 1-0 down. I just refuse to go on Arsenal subs as they are full of Arsenal fans

Ffs. At 80 minutes, Newcastle 1-0 up. I went to do a few bits and bobs, fully expected a draw, so am totally hacked off with this shower now getting 3 points. I'll have to watch a bit on Sky now to see what happened.

Twice now in a week they've scraped points in the dying minutes. I'll stick my neck out and predict at least one goal was from a corner.

They won't win the league so they can celebrate all they want. Cnuts and dirty and snidey too.

Don't bother with Sky mate, both goals were corners.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal better hope we don't clear our injuries up and click into gear. We've had zero pressure season, not played great and are only five and three points behind both.
Keep us out of the narrative until Jan, they won’t see us coming as its unthinkable given the drop off being touted…

We e all bought into it but I have a feeling this will be pep’s masterpiece
