Arsenal won't win the CL more good teams there than in the Premier League
They won't win either league or CL.
Either us or Liverpool for the Premier.
Us Liverpool, Real , Bayern PSG. for The CL
Could throw some others like Atlectico, Inter or Napoli for the CL too

Not many teams will beat them, they’ve a good chance
But let’s see how it goes

I've been able to be extremely unbiased especially when watching games not involving City... but I cannot understand how falling on the ground, arm in the air in the direct path of a threatening ball played whilst in the box isn't a possibility of a red much less a penalty.

That and ive developed a new disdain for Flopandro Flopshard. He falls when touched, bitches like a PMSing school girl when a call doesn't go his way.

Arse keep the refs in their back pocket and they are liable to wind up with yet another 2nd place certificate.

20 shots to 8,
No penalties against Arsenal when it’s blatant.
No red cards against Arsenal when one of there players smashes an opponent in the face.
Ref and Var team - cheats.
Saka avoided 2 yellows in 3 minutes.
Califury or what ever his name is should have got a 2nd yellow for a blatant shirt pull. Yellow card all day.
Gabriel should of got a red for a punch to the strikers face.

Shocking weekend for officials and Var. Our non penalty, Salahs handball snd others i imagine, Fulham very unhappy, Brighton denied a penalty. Its got so much worse under Webb.

I was on this thread the whole match mate - stayed here when we were 1-0 down. I just refuse to go on Arsenal subs as they are full of Arsenal fans

You've been sound mate. No bragging or daft swagger, just a decent bloke on an open forum.
No need to explain yourself, or justify comments. You know very well you're always going to cop for a bit of flak, it goes with the territory.
Reading through the thread today, I think you've been very fair.

Democracy must prevail on every front.

People mentioning our perceived improvement are not acknowledging that both arsenal and the dippers also have new players far from bedded in yet and they too should both improve substantially as the season goes on.

Right now, we are a level below both of them and aren't in the same bracket, just as the likes of Newcastle, Chelsea etc are a level below us. We can't be saying we are in the top 3 best sides in the league, it's, we are the 3rd best side in the league.

Get off that cross mate. We need the wood for fire.

I thought you guys gave us the hardest match so far this season. I know we lost at Anfield but that was due to a freak free kick - they didn't lay a glove on us otherwise.

What worries me about City as an Arsenal fan is what appears to be pragmatism from Pep and the fact your defence seem to be able to deal with it. I thought we'd win that match because we'd overpower your midfield and certainly your defence so even when Haaland scored first I thought we'd come back hard but you kept Arsenal at bay until the death and I just didn't think you'd be capable of that type of performance. I don't think Arsenal played badly either- we just couldn't get through until the death.

I think if you get Foden from 2 seasons ago, Haaland and Rodri stay fit, maybe you get some cover into the squad in Jan, you've as good a chance as anyone. From our perspective I have City away as the only 'probably will lose' game for us left this season - of course we'll probably lose more than that but I think we've now got our scariest fixtures out of the way apart from that game at the Etihad next season.

Hahahahah how did Gabriel end this game? This is an even worse case than the salah handball . This is crazy. How can PIGMOL justify this??

And what? We beat Napoli and we got a good draw with Arsenal. Not our fault they chose to take Kev off. Glass very half empty

As you know I'm not the most optimistic fan but you are spot on. We had Napoli pinned back when they had eleven men, I don't think them going down to ten men overly helped us, they would have defended all game with eleven.
As for Arsenal with better decision making we could have been two or three up and they wouldn't have come back from that. Fatigue meant we had to make too many changes and they got lucky and grabbed a point.

Honestly, I think that's just about right.
The huge imponderable for everyone is how well the new players everywhere bed in and improve. I would just note, however, that we've got four new players (counting the January window as new or newish, which I think is reasonable) as downright out through injury. Marmoush, Ait Nouri, Cherki, Khusa. That's a lot. How soon will they get back? Who knows? Will they get better as the season goes on and they understand Pep and the team more? Again, who knows?
