2 & 4 are perfect into own about midday , a few pre match beers but not too many to be legless, a few after while the suns still up and last buses and trains are running (some routes finish 11:30 ish) 7pm makes it an in and out job for some and reduces socialising with mates which is what football was created for, being a social activity.

Everyone has different preferences but 12:30’s are dogshit in my opinion.

For me I’d bin the 12:30’s for the Saturday evening slot but only on the proviso teams can’t get more than a couple of the late home games in a season. That was supposed to be the rule for 12:30’s but it seems that’s been fucked off now with Sky sometimes swapping with TNT.
