He had been exposed and not managed properly. He is a youngster still developing but the tactical clown is telling on him waaaaaay too much. Burnley have been far the better team once they settled.
contrast that with the way Pep has managed Rico and Bobb, they are used sparingly, very rarely exposed in key games and both are developing nicely. They are both good enough to play regularly in a mid-table PL side - but would that be best for their development? - of course not. and I suspect the fruits of Pep’s care will come in the years ahead - as it has for Phil Foden.He had been exposed and not managed properly.
