Southampton took a big chance a couple of seasons ago buying in a load of unproven youngsters, including 4 or 5 from our academy.
It just hasn't worked out for them.

He did, yet I’d be surprised if he went there. It sounded as though his sacking hurt him quite badly. Maybe it does fit as it has less scrutiny than at a top club.He said he’s open to anything. I thought with Sky lining him up it would be the rags, but I can’t see why he wouldn’t go Saints. Both equally shit.

If I get sacked I’d love to be hurt by my 17m pay off. I know what you mean though. He he looked quite uncomfortable in the show. A genuine humble person.
