Premier League Games 28/29 August

Didn't watch it.

I take it Wolves were bummed senseless bu the officials?
Not really they were guilty of missing a load of decent chances. No real reffing controversy in the game apart from the move leading to united getting a stuffy winner when a clear foul and potential red card was conveniently missed by the officials and stevie wonder on VAR

Also an obvious penalty completely ignored first half.

Why is it the opposite usually happens to us? Miss a load of chances whilst the opposition score from their only chance on the counter

Didn’t watch it, saw the goal time, read a match report, realized City are going to have a very difficult time this season given the refereeing and VAR changes undertaken.

One man’s “let the game flow” will be another man’s “that’s a red card, can you prove I’ve made a clear and obvious error?”

In addition, the lack of transparency over offside decisions and the “thickness” of the lines, will play out during the season as “not enough to be CALLED offside” when the narrative suits.

3 out of 4 and 5 out of 10 isn’t good for the PL insiders. Their “most difficult and competitive League in the world” narrative requires different winners. Need to get Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool back into the mix!

It's not just the ref and var folk, it the commentators to. Not once did they call it for what it was. So I don't expect any one bringing it up tomorrow on any media platforms. Is it going to stop? No, I doubt it.
