I'd probably be pleased if I was a Sunderland fan, they finally get a season where they aren't in the relegation zone getting battered every week. Things were never going to get any better for them in the Premier League, they've been shite for years and it was just a matter of how much dross they'd have to go through before being put out of their misery. I'd rather be fighting for promotion in the Championship than fighting relegation in the Premier League, but maybe that's just me
