Firedrill is starting
Rags have been better 2nd half, but like saying why didn't we just stay on the front foot on Sunday.Newcastle attempting to fuck this up, god knows why they didn’t just stay on the front foot, united are fucking shite.
Must be brought back in the summer.Delap, very good game
Disappointing to read of that abuse, if that’s what some are doing. I’ve never abused Lewis whilst at the match or on here, but I have been often critical of his performances, whilst also saying he’s a competent PL standard player (just not at the standard needed for a starting XI in a top 4 team).Yep; as a fanbase, we can't really take the moral high ground when it comes to scapegoating players. As you said, Edghill was treated like shit by a section of our fanbase. I also seem to remember Joe Corrigan getting stick when he first got in our first team in the early 70s. And on here, Lewis and Grealish seem to be singled out for abuse. A section of our fans seem to need scapegoat.
Paul Heaton is a City fan???Met him in, of all places Aldi in Middleton, a few years back and showed him this picture from 2013 and how proud of it I was - he seemed really touched by my pride in it. View attachment 141649
Man Utd 0-2 Newcastle
76: United are staring down the barrel of three straight home league defeats for the first time in four decades and more - the 1978/79 season to be precise.
But they had more shots non on target thoHighlight of the match so far for me was when Sky put up stats to show how Kobbie Mainoo’s introduction had completely changed the course of the game. From 0-2 to, um, 0-2.
