What they did to Paqueta is awful. He should be properly compensated and he should move on to another league. The guy shouldn't stay in the league after losing all respect for the officials.

(The antiCity element to it is very suspect too.)

I see Paqueta playing the "woe is me" card on social media...

Is this another case of a player getting pissed off with another example of shite reffing? Makes the point to the ref in probably street language and the ref immediately whips out a card to 'solve' the problem. It clearly shuts up the player but it doesn't eradicate the shitty refereeing. Bankes was another example on Saturday. Bernie is thoroughly pissed off with his performance, so too is Gigi and in the book they go. It's human nature to react in that way. Some react more violently. Look at South America! How many times has it been posted on here that we have to take it out of the refs' hands and provide some daylight with the score!

Only it didn't shut him up, did it? He kept on whinging; even the Liverpool players were telling him to shut up. When he got the first yellow card for dissent, what did he think was going to happen if he kept on, and on. Bowen, as captain, should have pushed him away from the ref.

It took the ref about 1.5s to reach for his card there. Maybe paqueta used foul language, but iv seen much much worse go unpunished.

He's a big mardy pants anyway with that tweet.

Yeah, reminded me of Jimenez playing for Wolves at The Etihad. Two yellahs inside thirty seconds. Best thing Jonny Moss ever did on a football pitch.

It was very much a dig. You're consistently criticising Pep and wanting him out of the club.

Which is your right to do.
No it wasn't a dig, I just might be too realistic for my own good and, but I love him and respect him to have a go at him. Particularly after what he achieved with us.

But you are right, I am not sure him staying for the reasons he gave in public has been good either for him or us.

He really didn't do himself any favours if he was innocent of match betting. It looked to most people watching that he was trying very best to get a second yellow for decent.
