Premier League Games 3/4/5/8 Feb '23

They won’t go down now Dyche is in charge.

That's what I said from the very moment his appointment was announced. Say what you like about Dyche, you can't ask for champagne football when you're on a shoestring budget. He was on that budget at Burnley, and he did very well to keep them in the PL as long as he did.
I always thought that Everton had ability. What they didn't have was balls. Dyche has got bollocks, and he'll transmit that to them.
After that, the board (who seem to be cretins, as far as I can make out) will have to give him the financial back-up to get two or three players of genuine quality in, if they're not to go through this every year.

Nearly half of Newcastle's PL games have ended all square. They're drawing too many games to maintain a title challenge. Even a top 4 spot could be tricky.

That's why the rags will beat them in the final unfortunately.

Not sure. I don't think they ever had the legs and the quality to go for the title. Deep down, they know it, too.
They might not even have it for top four, although I wish them well in that (anything to close the door on Spurs).
But they seem like potentially a good cup team, and they will be hugely up for a final at Wembley, after all these years (and of losing the few finals they've been in, including the famous one against us!) I think the area around Wembley will be invaded by a Geordie army. Sure, there'll be lots of fuckwit London plastic Yoonited fans around, too.
But I don't think it's as clear as you believe. Not for a cup final, which is a different ball game.
