Premier League Games | 3/4/5 Oct '25

Yes they did last year or the year before with offside if my memory is correct or certain aspects of var that were different to the rest of europe.

Just asked google does the premier league apply different rules to european football and got this answer.

Yes, the Premier League applies some different rules and interpretations compared to European football, primarily concerning added time, handling of referee interactions, and player eligibility due to post-Brexit rules, though both are governed by the International Football Association Board (IFAB)'s Laws of the Game. The Premier League has adopted longer stoppage times, restricted captain-only communication with officials, and introduced a stringent homegrown player policy, all of which can differ from UEFA-governed competitions.
Bentness in plain sight.

If he dived why wasn't he booked.
I think he was pushed but obviously not enough for a penalty dependant on which team you play for

Referees are never going to book somebody for diving if there is contact (unless it's Jeremy Doku).

If there's contact then it's just a matter of interpreting whether the contact was enough to be a foul, but it's impossible to say whether a player is diving or not if he has actually been physically pushed.

Chelsea dont rate Connor Bradley, just keep going at him.

Assume Frimpong is on at half time.
I don't think Slot rates Frimpong at all at right back.

If Frimpong does come on he'll find himself on the right wing with Szoboslai at right back, Although I'd be surprised if that change wasn't Wirtz on for Bradley and push Szoboslai to right back.

I'm sure chelsea will fuck this up but Liverpool look shite. Win tomorrow and get our players back and you never know. Arsenal don't look special either
