Newcastle had six players over 6 foot 4 play in their recent Champions League fixture.

I dont think even our own fans appreciate what we did with that, because of the success before and the treble it’s not really sunk in and probably won’t for many many years. It’s like when United first won the treble, it was a huge achievement and was rightly lauded but it has been copied it took 24 years though and even then there’s a great deal of luck in cups. To win a league is about consistency and to achieve that over 4 seasons nevermind putting a treble in there as well as a few doubles is unbelievable. Even if it is replicated I doubt the team that does it, wins a treble and a couple of doubles as well.

But they haven’t got them yet, they would have to win every match to achieve those totals. Only one team has ever hit the 100pt mark in a 38 match season, and may I say got fuck all credit for doing it.
 
Based on what I’ve seen so far this season
I’ve got arsenal for the league but we’ve seen em bottle this so many times
It could be quite a season if all four of us keep playing like this with inconsistent results.
 
Arsenal squad manager will be looking at Liverpool and believe they will win the league! They’ve been there and there about for 3/4 years there squad it the most settled most packed with established players! They don’t win it this season don’t thing they’ll ever will with Arteta!

We have a small chance if somehow we stay within 3/6 points click buy a top right back in January!

agreed.

Arsenal have the most settled squad and are not bedding in half a team...both ourselves and the scousers are in a transition process with players and managers adjusting.

This is Arsenals best chance in a long time and if Arteta doesnt get them over the line then he should be sacked - would make it more funny if some random team stepped up and won it before them!

It’s not just the 100 points. From that season, until 2024, which is seven seasons this club produced records that no other club has got close to in English football history, in terms of games won, goals scored and trophies accumulated.

It’s not even a matter for debate which team, objectively and statistically speaking can claim to be the best ever. Anyone suggesting anything else is a fucking clown.

Look how many points United got when they won the Treble ffs, and yet sone journalists suggests that team was somehow better because of the ‘jeopardy’ associated with them.

City’s 2019-19 team would put five or six past that team without reply.

As others have said. I don't think it has truly sunk in yet that that period of domination was one of the best ever.
