Premier League Games 3/4 Sept '22

2 poor teams today
Arsenal are rubbish in the big games and predominantly choke them, yet again they don't deliver when it matters.
They've been gifted an easy start and they have got carried away.
I don't rate Arteta as a manager at all.
Let the RAGS get carried away.
We will win this league by 15 points.

So why dont center forwards just goal hang ?

Rashford was 'off side' just over the half way line so gain an advantage over the defenders and scored !

Jesus Christ how can you not understand the offside rule.

You can’t goal hang because you need to be either behind the last 2 defenders or behind the ball when a pass is made to you.

If Rashford wanted to sit on the 6 yard line for 90 minutes and wait until United got forward enough that he wasn’t offside, he could do.

O.k. So yesterday Liverpool — the mighty, mighty reds — drop two points to a team that are in a highly comparable situation to Villa; Chelsea get three points courtesy of an absolutely outrageous VAR decision, but are otherwise far from convincing; and the unstoppable Arsenal come completely unstuck, after outplaying them, against an unimpressive United.
Our dire draw at Villa Park looks a bit different now, doesn't it? Not saying that it's great — it wasn't — but I'd still back us to last the course. We'll draw other games, we'll even lose a couple, but I'd still back us.
Now… Spurs. We owe you, you fuckers.

I’m feeling pretty good about where we stand. Arsenal looked like a fraud team today. Liverpool has real issues in midfield, and they are missing Mane. If Pep can get us on one of our classic mid season win streaks I think we can walk the league.

Agreed i thought fair point yesterday...good game really in terms of...it could go either way.quality wise yes room for improvement.. but as game of football ..when you want your team to win it was what we pay for and travel around the country for..a draw away yesterday ..fair point and not a bad one
