this var can’t overrule the original decision if there’s any contact needs fucking off.
The whole point of var is to give the ref a second pair of eyes, not be scared of upsetting him.

Contact does not make it a foul. It’s beyond a joke.

There's no way he's seen that little nick off the keepers elbow!

Problem is once he's given it its impossible to overturn as he's clipped him, but how the fuck has the referee given that 30 yards away.

No it’s not impossible.. VARs job is to look at the replay and realise the ref made a howler and point out it was a dive.. rescind the yellow for their keep and give one to Jota for simulation. That is what would happen if VAR did what it was meant to do on paper.

However, VAR is doing a fantastic job at achieving what it is really meant to be doing, which is of course micro managing the course of games.

Without any shadow of doubt tonight’s use of VAR has shown it’s not fit for purpose and brings the use of it into disrepute The defenders of it haven’t got any defence any longer
Taylor’s decision to give it is embarrassing for VAR to decide it wasn’t a clear and obvious error is a total fuck up
Even Mike Dean couldn’t defend that decision but dickhead Dermont will say there was contact Anyone with a slight understanding of bio mechanics could explain that the slight contact wasn’t enough for him to stumble yards afterwards
