Already happening on Glory Glory. Which is amazing, because even their current position would be a respectable one, given what they've got, and assuming they can maintain it.
They have the ambitions of a big club, but Levy simply doesn't let them have the means. They've got a big, shiny stadium — no, in fact, I don't want to be sarcastic, it is genuinely impressive, I was there for that total cock-up of a match last February. But they don't have the team or the means to back it up. Mourinho's done fairly well, but he's got them playing drab football, so anything less than top four will not be forgiven. Same at United. He wasn't exaggerating when he said he'd done very well to get them second spot in 2017-18. They were a very ordinary team.
