Also, I said before, when you are low on confidence and especially aware of the consequences of making a mistake (with a recent sending off fresh in your mind), it can be difficult to motivate yourself to sprint from behind and make a challenge on player that has gotten by you.

Lots of elite sportsmen and women employ sports pyschologists. You have to think Kalvin would benefit from a few sessions with one. It looks to my untrained eye that his confidence is shot.

No. I tried to share that he was going that direction last season and it is one of the reasons he left.
