I'll hold my hands up. Watched the slo mo replay at half time and Girouds eyes were on the ball so fair play credit to him

But still think there's a lot of luck involved cos if he tried that another 100 times he'd probably not score again
 
I think there was nothing that unusual about any of the results this weekend. In fact probably every one of them was expected including ours with our record at Anfield. It would have made a decent Acca actually.

All the rest beat teams you would expect them to beat.

We are still on a relatively decent run with 3/4 wins it's just that the other sides are all on very good runs and it's sending us down the table.

December was always going to be a pivotal month for us and it's been mediocre. The Chelsea game being the killer. Had we won that as we should have done, we are 4 behind with 19 games to go. 10 looks too many now and the other top 6 all have as good a chance as each other from a top 4 perspective.

39 points after 19 games would usually have us right in the mix but this season Chelsea have been so good that it's perhaps distorting matters a bit.

Chelsea can probably win the league winning 12 of their last 19 games.
 
Well we're in fucking trouble now. In a battle for 4th with Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and the rags and they all have stronger squads than we do.
 
I hate to say it, but we need Chelsea to beat Spurs this week. We must concentrate on top 4. Let's face it, the title is beyond reach.

But I bet Chelsea's run comes to an end, just to spite us. However, there's a bit of history between the two London clubs.
