Premier League Games 31th Aug/ 1st Sept 2024

Wow. Sturridge is so far out of his depth it’s not even fair. He just referred to Salah as leaving Manchester United.

You were doing reasonably well until the last sentence….
I honestly think this could happen. ManUre have a couple out with injury, but on today's showing they may affect the first team on their return, but they add little to quality squad depth.

How will Villa cope with 8 CL matches added to their workload? What toll will an expanded Europa League take on Spuds & ManUre?

City know all too well what it takes to fight on several fronts. We'll all have to prioritise competitions to a degree, but some will cope better than others, & this'll have a direct impact on who'll finish in the top 5.

Add in Chelsea, & anything can happen this season imo.

The Dippers looked solid, well drilled & clinical if truth be told. ManUre started OK, but after the first goal, they became rattled, started making mistakes, & then fella apart like a cheap suit.

The Dippers were great, but the Rags contributed to making them look so good. Tent Peg looks under serious pressure early on.

Thinking about our last two games against ManUre, they were a shadow of both those sides. They showed little & aside from Amand, they also had little by way of options or gamechangers on the bench.

It looks like The Dippers & Arseholes will be up there fighting for the title.

With the Geordies beating Spuds, it'll be interesting to see how the season pans out once the games start coming thick & fast & injuries, fatigue & suspensions start to take their toll. A dark horse like Newcastle or WHU may be involved in the PL title mix.
Newcastle and West Ham have zero chance
