What I never get is when there's a yellow for time wasting IN ADDED TIME and the ref blows at exactly the time added. These refs are just incompetent

6 minutes added time, the ref then booked the keeper for wasting time. So how come 96.08 are played ?
I assume the keeper wasted the 8 seconds so he added it on.
