You are talking about 18 months ago.. we are all in agreement that we were an exceptionally fluid side with an even greater mentality back than. Now we are not quite as fluid and we don’t have the mentality to come from behind.
it’s not opinion. It’s a fact just look at results and it confirms it.
hopefully we can get back to those ways but let’s not dress it up that we all think we will turn games when going behind as most don’t and for good reason.. because we haven’t for a long time.

Liverpool don’t hang on to there players really .they always make sure they get a good fee for there star players so I would presume one of salah mane or firminho will go next year .A combination of our legends leaving/getting old and 2-3 teams recruiting well has closed the gap. It was always going to happen. City are building again and once the final few players are purchased then we will go out in front again. Same thing will happen the scousers in a few years.
So how many points did we finish behind "great mentality" United in our injury ravaged season last year.
During the seasons when we won the Quad and achieved 100 points you do realised we only turned around a handful of games. Mentality must have been shit then as well.

Stating facts and asking questions is not being defensive.You are getting very, very defensive. We finished above them because we are better than they are and by a significant margin. We were infinitely better than them the season before. We are still better than them now. However, they have definitely improved in terms of personnel and we are not as good as we were.
They have belief they can turn any game whereas we seem to have lost that. Do I think they will finish above us? No, but it will be lot closer than recent seasons if we don’t find a way of turning zero points into three.
for an elite side it is currently our achilles heal at present. The best sides can go behind but find a way. We don’t do it anymore.
Utd are half decent team that manage to find a way and that is all they are.
As long as they continue to ‘find a way’ and we don’t they will continue to close the gap when in reality that gap should be sizeable.
