Spot on.Neutrals saying this is a great season because we're not winning it every time. As a bare fact, I can maybe understand that. I felt the same about United for many years.
But the difference is this. We've set a benchmark that others, and particularly Liverpool, have had to meet. In 2012-13 we had a basically spent United team playing out of its skin to keep pace with us; in 2013-14 it was similar with Liverpool (an unbalanced team with a brilliant attack, that somehow managed to match us till nearly the end). The last seven years we've had Liverpool playing absolutely out of their skins, and Arsenal last season. Pep has forced anyone wanting to compete with us to play really good football.
I honestly don't see that this season.
