Trying not to get carried away with how Liverpool performed today and dropped points, It's all ifs and buts, Haaland penalty goes in against Everton and Nunes doesn't give that penalty away against the Rags and we'd be in touching distance of the dippers which is crazy with how bad we've been.

Personally Top 4 still has to be the aim with how we are performing especially with the run in we have coming up.

Getting a few players in this month will help us massively and see if we can make things interesting.

Agree with all that but just wish we could bring in some more from our academy. Surely there’s some young lads who could do a job in the middle for us.

People always have short memories that as captain in the 7-0 defeat at Anfield a couple of years ago Fernandes "asked to be substituted" that day. He wanted to go off because they were getting dismantled.

I'd love to see O"Reilly in the team, For the main reason he has legs to cover ground which is very noticeable it's something we are missing.

mmmmmm, I don't see us, in our current form, picking up many, if any points from that run.

I'm not sure. If we turn in performances like yesterday (despite the score, we weren't great), then yeah; it'll be a tough month. But if we can somehow get back to, say 80% of our capability, we have the players to do well in those games.

Personally feel as though the biggest challengers to City are ourselves. The performances haven’t been there as Pep has said. January will be very interesting if we can get our out of possession issues sorted then we can make things interesting for sure. There’s also a psychological element to City breathing down your necks as we saw last season with them where they capitulated before the run-in. This would be mightily funny if we won the league from here.
