People will never accept this but when you can see daylight between the ball and the white line there is always another good few inches before the ball is fully over because of perspective. When the gap between ball and line is that small, it's almost certainly still in play.

Tried everything not to give that

They checked 3 possible infringements that all looked plausible.
If they were trying they could have just given a different answer?
TBH I'm still not convinced it wasn't offside?
