Premier League Games 5/6/7 August '22 (new season)

Good lord what is going on. the last 2 seasons have seen unpteen stoppages.

is a football crowd now just filled with geriatrics keeling over?
My theory is side affects of covid and vaccinations
Then again I may be talking shit

Is it me or have these crowd incidents increased since covid?

I don't remember many before it. I saw one poor elderly man die at Maine Road and there was the guy who died at the bus queue outside the ground at the Etihad after a night game.

Alli had so much potential at one point. 18 goals and 7 assists in the league from midfield in 16/17 at 20 years old. Then been sliding downhill ever since.
it’ll be down to attitude/professionalism. Mourinho told him he was a shit trainer.

wouldnt be surprised if he was out on the town a lot and lost a marginal bit of quality.

Was only saying last night that these kinds of medical incidents seemed to die down after Christmas last season. Tempting fate.

Judging how irate people get on here to refereeing decisions, I can only imagine how stressed and angry it must be for people in the stadium.
