Great result from Fulham

Liverpools second was lucky

The fulham penalty - if thats given against us Id be pissed...Mitrovic played for it and looked like he dived...Im suprised it wasnt overturned

However, Fulham completely deserved the result...Liverpool didnt look great at all

However, this result should be a warning fr us tomorrow....go in undercooked andwe will struggle as West Ham are a very decent team

It is obvious what Klopp’s strategy is this season. He is viewing it like the COVID season with the big break in the middle. That’s why it is so important he gets a flying start and is at least 4,5 points ahead by the World Cup, hence the large amount of pre-season friendlies. It will then be a question of holding us off until May (not losing the clashes against us will be vital).

Dropping these points is not in the script and this now makes the home game against Palace a must win, expect a caustic post-match interview!
