Compared the Cancelo shove yesterday that resulted in a penalty, to the shove by TAA and asked why it was not a penalty. They were talking about the inconsistency of the refereeing and opined that this is probably why no English refs are going to be at the current World Cup..

Richard Keys asking whether spurs should have had a penalty…shows a video of the challenge a few times…McAteer says no and then explains his reasoning…..Keys asks again why not and explains that he thinks spurs have been robbed and it’s a pen….McAteer is adamant it’s ok…..they then cut to footage of the city game yesterday and Keys points out that the challenge is identical and surely if Cancelo is a red and penalty then spurs should also have had one…

Nicely done and a point well made.

It’s the same twat of a referee on VAR, that gave the fucking penalty at our gaff yesterday for exactly the same challenge.

We don’t want biased decisions, we just want consistency.
With the introduction of var it’s gotten worst.
From game to game the same offences are being treated differently.
So why is that when they have video replays, multiple angles and time to make a decision?
And that’s why fans are questioning their integrity.

It is but they did a very nice piece on it at HT on Bein.

We all know why it’s so inconsistent…..I watched the Dasilva foul on the Forest player yesterday and it was exactly the same as Cancelo…..no card, no pen in that game.
