maybe but when you base your opinions on a very small statistical analysis then you are always going to come up short with such a small amount of data...there are so many other factors (games) to take into account. As long as we ar there or there about at new year then we are in the mix.......arsenal and spurs both dropped points today so are not better off than us....and chelski are in a purple patch and looking good but they have the potential with a few of their players to implode (if they lose hazard at any point it will look very different for them).....Liverpool aren't as good away from home as they are at clanfield and we are unpredictable.
I do fear (as i do every year) that the club (manager and players) are prioritising the champs league (which i don't think is right)...of course Pep et al. will say they are not but i think psychologically they are at lease
Bloody hate internationals as our players always come back orse off than when they went and thats something else that is and always does cause us problems
I am thinking that Peps idea of playing with a smaller squad is an issue as well and could come back to haunt us
