I think I read yesterday that Palmer has scored 8 for Chelsea.

I posed the question on here the other night after CP scored 2, of why do Chavs, who are a mid table team get so many penalties? Something not right, we are denied them constantly.

Unless footy is now a fully non contact sport then it's not a pen.

It's possible to get the ball and it still be a fowl just in case your not pretending to know that already.

Chelsea have received by far the most penalties in the league this season (11). Arsenal are now second, two goals off them.

For reference, we’re joint 5th (5 pens) with United and Brighton.

No it’s not you can still win the ball with it being being a clear foul… happens like every 5 minutes in premier league.

Player gets a touch on ball but completely wipes out the player = foul. Standard. Nothing controversial.

All of these comments to the contrary have me questioning my sanity. Never at any point in time, anywhere on the pitch, during any part of history, should that ever be a foul. Bonkers.

If we think that's a penalty then we might as well just concede football is a non-contact sport.

Yep just have interception football. Under no circumstances is that decision acceptable.
