Premier League Games 7/8/9 December 2024

Jesus Christ, there’s a bit of wind and rain.
Maybe in most areas of the British Isles, but not on the West Coast of Britain or East Coast of Ireland. There’s a genuine threat to life in those areas.

There’s not been a red weather warning in Britain since January when two people were killed by falling trees in Scotland.

Plus maybe they’ve put a ball down on the pitch and it won’t sit still which means you can’t restart the game after the ball’s gone dead because you can’t take a kick off, goals kick, corner kick or free kick with a moving ball.

90 mph winds are seen in a Category 1 hurricane.

Is that because the planes from Norway and Ireland etc can't land ?
Imagine that away end today, there would be around 58 people in it (and that would be tickets for players friends & families)

I hope the insurance companies refuse to pay out all of the cancelled flights/hotels due to it being an act of god

Should have called it Storm Coote ;-)

State of Bramley Moore too, flooded.

Reckon the drains aren't in yet or working properly or something but surely they go in first?

I have the house to myself so was looking forward to sitting and watching all three games today. Ah well. More Assassin's Creed it is.
