He wanted to go on loan but Pep not being happy with his decision not to take a bit role, demanded he either stay or get sold.
That to me is just a Royal fuck up of unacceptable magnitude. It you don't have to sell a good young player ( especially one already close to the first team) you absolutely shouldn't.
