Depends what they wanted him for. If it was their man in the dressing room with no motive to keep the job long-term and he's fed the board the toxic players they need to ship out, then it's a short term hit for long term gain.Amazing decision by their board to appoint a temporary manager given the circumstances
Ultimately the alternative was hiring someone they didn't want and having to pay them off in 18 months once they're sacked so whilst I'm glad they're failing, they've at least tried a different approach.
