Rashford looked a talented player when he was younger. Awful now.

Loads of young players look exciting when they first break through because nobody knows how they play and they’re unpredictable, so they produce what look like moments of magic and everyone gets excited.

When everyone gets used to them and wise up to their tricks or habits, most of these young potentially good players either stand still or go backwards and find themselves down the league(s).

Very few keep kicking on.

Everyone knows Rashford likes to shift the ball onto his strong foot and then kick it as hard as he can at goal, so defenders show him his weaker foot and he struggles.
