Coutinho is still a great player. He wasted years of his career by moving to Barcelona. He should have stayed in the Premier League.

I’m not sure he’s ever been a great player. Good player, energetic, skilful… but shoots too much from stupid distances and is too inconsistent.

The fact Bayern didn’t want to sign him after his loan and that Barça wanted rid of him after spending four times as much as he’s worth on him, says a lot.

His next club will be his eighth and he’s still in his 20s.
