Premier League Games 8/9 April '23

We know that most of the Liverpool players are suffering from acute asthma. People dont give full credit to how much more that means. Hopefully they'll be better after a few puffs during the half time break.

I will say this:

I don’t want to lose the league, especially to Arsenal after we have basically helped them to do it in many different ways…

But losing the league but winning the CL and FA Cup would be a fantastic season and would likely make us even more likely to win the league next season (as the players will have confidence AND be hungry for revenge and/or prove they can do it, in the case of the new players).

That would be 5 in 7, with a CL and many Cup triumphs sprinkled in.

That is still absolute domination that any team in the world would bite your hand off to achieve.

Even if we don’t do that, I am a blue till the end.

City till I die isn’t just a saying.
 
we need to go big time vs Bayern and put all our eggs into the CL basket. it will be immensely hard, Bayern knows how to win the CL Tuchel as well.
not mentioning serial CL winner Real and Ancelotti.

we need a rotated team vs Leicester at home.

league is gone, Arsenal are way too good and they are bit quite consistent getting 3 points. amount of times they go 1-0 or 2-0 up already in first half is quite something. and then they had a patch about a month ago when 3 times in a row they needed last minute tricky comebacks and they did that as well plus winning some games since then too by playing bad.
they are being asked question and they keep answering them very well. :(

they go to Anfield where we always struggle even at our best form, they go there and easily 2-0 up and could improve GD by the end.

in Etihad they wont win, we win it or a draw, but other than then cannot see them losing any game and not even any draws.

they lost at home to us, and what a reaction to that loss, 8 wins in a row. that is what Pep used to do.
