and Everton

We were very poor around the World Cup.

After dicking Southampton at home 4-0 in October, we didn’t play well again in the league for fucking ages:
Liverpool a, Brighton h, Fulham h, Brentford h… a random good performance at Leeds… then Everton h, that first half at Chelsea, United a, and the first half against Spurs at home in January.

That comeback against Spurs showed we might be putting things behind us and we went on a good run, beat top-of-the-league away and then put in one of the best performances of any team anywhere this season at Forest and drew. A crazy result in a game that a 0-6 score line woundn’t have been blinked at.
