Premier League Games 9/10/11/12 April

Makes me laugh people worried about the league. We have to lose more games than we have in the last 28 games to fuck this up. We will be fine.
I don’t get this argument. We got beat yesterday and if we continue to play a weakened team in the league then we will continue to drop points. The past does not matter when we lineup against villa. Strongest team now going forward. The margin for error has reduced and a rag win against Burnley will leave us little wiggle room.

So, lots of teams have good players. We are a better team because we have more good players and a better coach. We’ll bring a good striker in to replace a great striker in Aguero, we may bring a midfielder in too if Fernandiho go.
We are highly unlikely to do it by letting two of our younger good players go for two older players though, that would be pointless.

So to clarify, you think Jesus and Sterling are worthy of being in a top tier team? They are at Tottenham’s level. Whereas Kane and Son are underachieving, through no fault of their own.

just the 8 points, which allows us a draw and 2 losses in 6 games.
We’ve won 26 of 28 to put it into perspective.

To have gone on such a long run unbeaten away from home, they deserve some credit for their resilience .

I do just add the rider that I think they are treated differenty on the disciplinary aspects both for and against which often helps them. And I make no apology for thinking this way, as they had 4 players booked today but still got away with some dubious tackles, and Pogba got away with a Red card offence without any card .
Refs bend over backwards for them we can all agree on that

When we’re discussing how many points from how many games remaining and you get the number of games wrong by nearly 20% then it’s fair to say that’s a hell of a margin of error.
Again avoiding the point that the league isnt over mathematically and that it will be a lot closer than people say

Let's talk about the games that they have left..

I can see them beating Burnley and Leicester....hopefully the red scouse will play themselves back into a bit of form before playing utd...if they gont utd will beat them as well.

In that time we have villa and palace
....normally neither of those 2 games would cause us too much issue but with a cup final, a semi final and 2nd leg of CL surrounding those games the pressure is on esp if pep plays weakened teams..fail to win both of those league games utd could be within 5-8 pts (ish) off us.

To sat it is over is to not understand a part of football which is psychological pressure and tiredness...let alone physical.....

Are we in the driving seat...absolutely. Are we favourites...absolutely. are we the better team...despite results against them....yes absolutely. But those cup games will be playing on the mind of the players no matter what and yesterday it played on the mind of Pep whobos the best manager probably of all time but he is clearly rotating and that means weaker sides at some point....a midfield of ferna and zinchenko definitely is not our strongest and neither is a pairing of Mendy and Ake....

Let’s see what happens, if we don’t get past Dortmund then it’s moot, apart from a brain fart in the CL Pep normally knows how to win multiple competitions so I have trust in him and the main squad.
That's very true......

Yes perspective is needed but we should not be in this position. We had a huge lead and now we are talking about how many losses and draws to scrape over the line.
