We know why Barton says what he says but there's no excuse for Smith, he's getting worse too.
If Barton says it’s a yellow, I’d take it as a definite red…..
Barton has totally lost the plot these days.

Nedum was on a podcast the other day saying that the current crop of pundits (Neville, Spitty, Smith etc.) are all commenting on a game that is so far removed from what they played they should be put out to pasture. He’s not wrong either..We know why Barton says what he says but there's no excuse for Smith, he's getting worse too.
Disagree personally. Honestly think Maddison is incredibly over rated. Does the odd nice thing that flashes on highlight reels.
Don’t think Maddison could carry a side like grealish did at villa for instance.
Grelish has never had Maddison's passing ability, dead ball ability, or goal threat. What's he better at? Dribbling and winning fouls?
Carrying a mid table side is meaningless when you join us. Jack has been been neutered to a large extent because he doesn't get free reign in our system; Maddison's qualities would only make him shine more with us IMO.

Agree about Caicedo every time I see him play he should have a straight red or 2 yellows but McGinn is a proper horrible twat who thinks he is Roy KeaneTrippier did that last season and got his red card rescinded for a much worse challenge. Caicedo got away with hundreds of these tackles. Where is the consistency?
