Which is fine. Most challenges have a large element of subjectivity about them.
and MOST challenges don't get highlighted and analysed for us to be able to see the "subjectivity" thresholds.

Who decides at VARHQ which of these subjective challenges the on-field ref should see again?
A different individual every week?
So, an extra level of subjectivity stitched into the process, which is nice ;)

The VAR official for each match.
 
I thought everyone knew it was code for ‘change your mind’
It’s what it largely does, but that’s because the VAR official has seen the incident fron5 different angles, whereas the on field ref had one view.

I’d prefer the on field refs to ask to check calls they aren’t 109% on and review them without being told where they’ve gone wrong, but no doubt that would add another half an hour to each game.
