We've played literally the hardest fixtures of our season bar Dippers away. The fact we're 3rd is still pretty good.

Let's take a look at the table in Feb and see how things stand.

A point away at Chelsea, especially when winning 1-0 and 10 points behind, is a great result.

My understanding from a mate whose dad works for Arsenal on the coaching side is that the Arsenal coaching team are pissed off with Carsley for flogging our players in the friendly games instead of rotating them.

Apparently England were warned about this but they came back with the response that they'll do what's best for England, pick who they want and play them for as many minutes as they feel they want to. The argument Arsenal have is that this is causing fatigue and exacerbating muscle injuries as a result. Basically that England aren't seeing the wider picture and are thinking short term.

Norway have been far more accommodating with Odegaard and are letting him sit out the upcoming games to get fitter. He faded badly today.

After a season where nobody really knew what both him and Chelsea were capable of and gave them loads of space, he's now a marked man. He would have faced that every game for us.
