Easily one of the finest players I've ever seen in the PL. Peak Yaya was the best player in the world. He'd walk into this team and was absolutely unplayable at times.

Also went for Ashley Cole who is one of the best left backs I've ever seen - probably the best. He would walk into every team in the PL even now. Voted for Tony Adams as well as he was a colossus of a defender - proper nasty, hard and brilliant leader. Doing that under both George Graham and Wenger was some achievement.

I like him and I desperately wanted him to succeed at City but Fowler never quite reached legend status. Pairing him with Anelka was pointless as they hated each other.

Fowler’s potential was never fulfilled which is a real shame.
