Premier League Midweek Games 12/13 Dec

They had no intention in taking part in a game of football against us. I’d be surprised if they made more than three passes in a row all game.

An 8 changes Wolves were better and did better and got a better result than them, Huddersfield, Southampton and West Ham.

4th in the league after 17 games. Must be doing something right.

Well he's played the day before Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool, that's a pretty big factor in them being 4th right now tbh. Got the look of the next Moyes or Allardyce about him, doing a cracking job getting results while playing some pretty turgid stuff with pretty terrible players. That's the strength of these managers, to come up with defensive systems that nullify the (lack of) quality in their players. But therein lies why no one will give him (or Allardyce) a big job, because you just can't look at the way his team plays and think "stick some better players in that system and it would be fantastic". Compare that to Marco Silva's Watford, who are doing much worse, but teams look at the way they play and can easily imagine how much more effective they'd be with better players.

Are the Huddersfield players able to attack? This is the worst I’ve seen from any team going forward. They’ve literally gone forward once in the whole game, their players look like pub players on the ball. 3-0 now.

Probably doesnt help the players when the manager states prior to the game he doesnt expect to get anything off Chelsea
