That was a great goal from Isak earlier but Branthwaite didn’t cover himself in glory. Could have shown Isak wide but got caught overrunning.

Every time I watch him he shows glimpses of brilliance but also signs he has quite a lot still to learn.

He is young, of course, but the comparisons to Stones at that age are bit off for me.

Apart from the goal the standard of the Toon Everton game is absolute shite. Leeds v Hull was a much better watch last night.

It’s so open because both sets of players continue to make mistakes.

Not a great advert for the quality of the Premier League.

As much as our game on Sunday was frustrating, and Arsenal’s tactics cowardly, at least you could see it was two heavyweights, perhaps not at their absolute best, duking it out.

I think he’d be decent in our set up. Good link up play and scores releatively frequently.
