Surprise surprise, after their cup final last weekend spurs are now back to normal. Getting beat by Burnley.

They must be such an infuriating team to support. Turn it on against the big teams (they took points off the dippers as well as us) but slip up so often against strugglers.

Tactics. The thing is most of us knew how they would play against us and their two danger men but once again the same tactics beat us. It didn't help our defence turned into Leeds for that game.

They have strengthened well so their squad which used to be weak outside their first eleven is now strong. Their front players are probably the strongest in Europe. There isn't much between us, two different styles of play but theirs is no less effective because of that

It happens to all teams that try to have a high line and play compact at the opponents half. In ten games city will win 6, draw three and lose one. You got unlucky. It happens.

We only have ourselves to blame for Saturday. They have lost 4 of their last 5 games which says everything about them. We were sloppy and peps tactics were very poor, particularly not adapting in game to the threat of Kane. Not only that, pissing a point away in the 95th minute was just amateurish.

Yep, but they’re perfectly suited to play teams where they’re happy to play an ultra low block. When they have to come out and play, build possession rather than a quick counter they’re limited.
Lampard generally plays 4-4-2 so it should be a different game.

I don’t buy that they were that good. It was stupid tactics against a team that has done that against us before. Not only that, the pissing away of a point was amateur hour when a point could be vital at the end of the season.
