No well yes, he has managed to persuade the AFON organisers to allow players to be released 13 days before the competition as opposed to the usual 14. This gives them all their AFCON players against Chel$ki... what price soft muscle injuries occur?

it was a lot shorter than that - all players should have gone by december 27 being 14 days before the first game on Jan 9 but ‘special agreement’ was made.

if you look at the liverpool schedule the net effect is the only premier league games they’re likely to miss is palace away and brentford at home

If tonight has taught me one thing, I can’t watch tomorrow nights game at home as my internet connection is so shit it’s untrue. Constant buffering. I know I live in the sticks (Saddleworth) but feck me. I gave up in the end.
