Seems everybody is complaining about officiating. Everybody but City. Which would suggest that City are satisfied with refs, right? I will never understand why the club has tolerated this narrative for years. Admirable perhaps, nevertheless a situation that costs points, injuries, energy. Even in wins, we suffer more than we should, waste much more energy etc. Which in return fucks up Pep's master plan in terms of subs, and so on...Tuchel doing his nut about Mike Dean, post match. I've read it on other forums as well. Seems that everybody feels that Dean's got a personal vendetta against their club, and specifically their club.
May be true, mind you. He loves himself so much that there's not really anything left over for others.
I watch Liverpool, Chelsea and other teams play, including Brentford last night, the level of physicality is scary. City will never EVER be allowed to match this. Never. And the less we talk about other decisive calls, like penalties etc, the better. What Klopp, Tuchel and others are doing is classless -and a total joke. Mourinho would be proud of them, constantly making a case out of literally nothing, always "investing" in influencing officials for the following match...
Regarding the match in question, highlight is the foul Dean gives to Kante a few minutes before the end. Honest man Kante knows he himself has commited the foul and quickly returns to his position. Only to realise with his teammates, a few seconds later, that Dean has given the foul in favor of Chelsea -and against Brighton. Probably the only man in the Bridge to assess that situation the way he did, even a fanatic Chelsea fan would never have made that call...
