I know what you mean, but I do struggle with supporting Spurs. We are that far away from the end of the season/ CL place deciding games, that I’m still rooting for Soton here.

I get where you're coming from. They broke my heart back in 1981 (even though it was 27 years before we were founded). But it's for the greater good, dammit. Rather them or Arsenal get that 4th place than our quiet neighbours.

The way Kane plays these days reminds me of a half-fit De Bruyne playing false-nine for us. Still the odd moment when he plays a great through-ball, and somehow manages to dribble past people despite being slow and awkward, but just doesn't look quite right
