Premier League (midweek) Games 4/5 April '23

In some part yes, but I think that’s been massively over-egged and the pathetic performance by the team has been brushed under the carpet. Nobody is telling me this team wasn't good enough to win that game:

Pep does something surprising nearly every week, all season, every season. Those players fucking bottled it!
I don’t think they bottled it but agree it wasn’t the tactics that lost us the game.

I think we would have gone on to win without Rudiger’s shithouse challenge that forces Kev off. Or if it had at least been punished appropriately.

I think the combination of Kev going off and seeing Rudiger get away with it (and a few other highly dubious challenges gone unaddressed earlier in the match from him and a few other Chelsea players) changed our mindset to one of resignation that we weren’t going to be allowed to win it.

Havertz is a truly awful player
Absolutely no belief in himself to score
Poor first touch half arsed attempt at goal
Jogging around
He’s gonna cost Chelsea
Its amazing how many players are lauded as the second coming of god when they burst onto the scene. Then they come to the premier league and are exposed as bang average at best.

Wonder why when Chelsea spent £500m they didn't consider buying a half decent striker.
